Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales

The majority of students in our Sixth Form complete the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales (formerly known as the Welsh Baccalaureate).

The reformed qualification is fully recognised by most universities and carries UCAS points equivalent to any other A-Level.

All students are encouraged to complete the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales unless they are part of the WRU Academy or if they are completing 4 A-Levels. Students receive lesson time, regular check-ins with dedicated teachers and independent resources.
