MAP - My Academic Progress
MAP
Our reporting and assessment system is called the MAP. It stands for My Academic Progress and it is a series of 3 "footprints" a year that include two interim reports and a full report each year from Years 7-13.
You can find more details of the MAP at our dedicated website:
Assessment and Reports
Pupil progress is tracked regularly throughout the academic year through the MAP (My Academic Progress) step reports. This information is shared with pupils on a regular basis and they are encouraged to evaluate their own progress. Interim reports are sent to parents/guardians twice a year, as well as their full report. The details of the reports are analysed and intervention strategies are put in place as necessary to help each pupil achieve their full potential.
Parents/Guardians Evenings
Progress Evenings for pupils already at the school are arranged at suitable times during the year. Some of these take place online and some are face-to-face. They provide an important opportunity for staff to discuss progress with parents/guardians. However, parents/guardians may contact the school at any time to make an appointment to discuss their children’s education and welfare should they wish to. This may be done by writing, emailing or by telephoning the Head of Year.
